It has beautiful decorative carvings just to one side as they were designed to go against a wall. These beds look great used as a sofa piled high with cushions during the day and then can be used as a bed at night! Painted a lovely gustavian grey at some time in its past and the paintwork which is chipped and very distressed has mellowed beautifully over the years
